Legal
Terms of use.
These terms apply to chrio.site. The clause that matters most is the one about product status: CritDRS and CritRate are In development, they are not commercially available, and nothing published here is an offer to supply them. CritShot is Live.

Scope
What these terms cover.
They cover this website: reading chrio.site, following links from it, and sending Chrio a message through the contact form. Chrio PVT LTD, of Plot No. 24-B, Street No. 6, Sector H-9/1, Islamabad, Pakistan, publishes and operates the site. Using it means you accept what is written here. If you do not, stop using it.
They do not cover a deployment. If Chrio has contracted with you to run CritShot, Live, at your fixtures, or to trial CritDRS or CritRate, both In development, with you, that work is governed by the written agreement between you and Chrio PVT LTD: what is delivered, what is warranted, and who carries which risk. Where that agreement and this page say different things about the same subject, the agreement is the one that counts.
This page is also not the privacy policy. What Chrio collects, why, and how to have it deleted is set out separately, in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Acceptable use.
The site is published for people working out whether what Chrio builds is any use to them. Read it, quote it with attribution, link to it, send it to a colleague, put it in front of your technical director. That is the intended use and it needs no permission.
The rest is the short list of things that are not.
- Do not attempt to break into the site, disrupt it, or probe it for weaknesses. Security testing has to be agreed in advance: write first, and say what you intend to test.
- Automated collection is fine at a considerate rate. A crawl that degrades the site for other readers is not.
- Do not use the contact form for bulk or unsolicited messages. It reaches the founders directly, which is the point of it.
- Do not use anything published here to state or imply that Chrio endorses you, your product or your competition. Say the true thing instead, and if you need Chrio to confirm it, ask.
- Do not misrepresent a product status. A page saying a product is in development means what it says, and quoting it without those words changes the claim into one Chrio has not made.
Published information
Accuracy of the information published here.
Figures on this site are published in good faith. Where a figure is a measurement, it is dated and attributed to the version of the system that produced it, because a number without a date and a version cannot be checked by the person reading it.
Where Chrio has not settled a definition, the site says so rather than naming one, and where an older public figure disagrees with the current one, the site reconciles the two instead of quietly keeping the flattering number. The methodology page sets out what the detection figure measures, the model versions behind it, the conditions the model depends on, and the earlier benchmark that does not agree with it. Read it before you rely on any number here.
What that means for you: a figure describes measured performance under stated conditions. It is not a warranty of performance at your ground, on your feed, during your fixture. What Chrio will commit to for a specific deployment belongs in the agreement for that deployment, and if a number is going to carry weight in your decision, ask for it in writing.
The clause that matters most
Products described as in development are not commercially available.
CritDRS and CritRate are In development. They are not finished products, they are not for sale, they are not licensable today, and nothing on this site is an offer to supply them. A page describing one of them describes work in progress: what it is intended to do, what is built, and what is not.
Nothing published here creates a contract or a commitment to ship. No render, screenshot, capability description, comparison or indication of timing is a promise that a product in development will be released, or released in the form shown. A commitment about a product in development has to be a written agreement signed by Chrio, and this page is not one.
-
CritShot
Live
Live shot analysis overlay. This is the product Chrio deploys today. What it covers at your fixtures, and on what terms, is set out in a written agreement rather than here.
-
CritDRS
In development
Decision review for domestic cricket. It has not been used to adjudicate a competitive fixture. It is not available to buy or licence, and nothing here offers it for either.
-
CritRate
In development
Live player performance ratings. It is not available to buy or licence, and nothing here offers it for either.
The status shown beside a product name on this site is the current one. When a status changes, the product page and this page change with it.
Imagery
Concept renders are labelled, and they are not records.
Some images and video on this site are concept renders. Where they are, the caption underneath says so.
A concept render shows how output is intended to look. It is not a record of a real match, a real delivery or a real decision, and it is not evidence that a system has been used in one. Teams, players, names and scores appearing in a concept render are fictional. Any resemblance to a real team, player or fixture is unintended and should not be read as one.
Where an image was captured at a real fixture, the caption says so and gives the date. Those two labels, concept and captured, are the only claim any image on this site makes about itself.
Outbound links
Links to other sites.
This site links out: to dhundo.store, to critshot.chrio.site, and to profiles on LinkedIn and GitHub.
Dhundo is Chrio's own product and it runs on its own domain. What you do on dhundo.store is governed by the terms that apply on that site, not by this page. Dhundo returns listings from retailers Chrio does not own or control, and the prices, stock levels and product descriptions in those listings belong to those retailers. Chrio does not warrant them and cannot correct them.
For any site Chrio does not operate, a link is a pointer and not an endorsement, and not a statement that the content on the other end is accurate, current or safe. Once you leave chrio.site, that site's terms and its privacy policy apply to you, and this page stops.
Intellectual property
Intellectual property in what is published here.
The text, images, renders, video, diagrams and code that make up this site belong to Chrio PVT LTD, along with the Chrio, CritShot, CritDRS and CritRate names and the Chrio logo.
Quote it and link to it, with attribution. That is what it is published for, and a page written to be checked is not much use if nobody may cite it. What is not permitted is republishing it wholesale, presenting it as your own work, or using the names or the logo in a way that suggests Chrio built, endorses or is connected to something it is not.
Material on the site that belongs to somebody else, a typeface being the obvious case, stays theirs and is used on their terms rather than granted to you by this page.
Liability
Limitation of liability, in plain terms.
This site is information about what Chrio builds. It is provided as it is. Chrio does not promise that it is free of errors, that it will always be reachable, or that anything described on it will suit your competition, your gallery or your feed.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Chrio is not liable for loss you suffer by acting on information published here, including a decision taken on the strength of a figure, a concept render, or a description of a product that is still in development. The remedy for that risk is the one this page keeps repeating: if it matters to your decision, ask for it in writing before you act on it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not permit to be excluded or limited. And where Chrio has a written agreement with you, the liability terms in that agreement govern that work. This page does not narrow them and does not replace them.
Governing law
Governing law.
Chrio PVT LTD is incorporated in Pakistan and is based at Plot No. 24-B, Street No. 6, Sector H-9/1, Islamabad. These terms are governed by the law of Pakistan. No court or arbitration venue is named here, because none has been agreed; if that matters to you, settle it in the written agreement rather than relying on this page.
Before that ever becomes relevant: write first. Most of what would otherwise turn into a dispute is a question about a figure, a status or a caption, and those are answered faster and better by the engineer who produced them than by anybody's lawyer.
Changes
Changes to these terms.
These terms change when the site does. The likeliest reason for a change is a product status: on the day CritDRS or CritRate stops being in development, this page and that product's page both change, because a status stated in two places has to agree in both.
A change takes effect when it is published here. The version on this page is the current one, and the date below is the last time it changed.

Ask before you rely on it.
Terms a company writes about its own products are worth reading sceptically. If something here is unclear, or you need a status, a figure or a commitment in writing before it can go near a procurement document, ask and you will get a straight answer.
