Chrio builds production AI from Islamabad.
Chrio PVT LTD is a Pakistani company, started in May 2024 and registered in Islamabad. It builds and runs two product lines: cricket broadcast technology, and Dhundo, a product search engine for Pakistan. Both are in production, and one engineer wrote the cricket analytics stack and Dhundo's search engine.

Abdullah Zubair Ghouri
Abdullah started Chrio in May 2024, in his second year of computer science at FAST-NUCES Islamabad, after a run of vision-AI hackathon wins convinced him the same models could read a cricket broadcast. He trained the first ball-detection models himself, wrote the Python NDI library that gets Chrio’s overlays into a production room, and then went and found the broadcaster.
He raised $20K on a $1M post-money SAFE, signed the Trans Group partnership, and has taken Chrio through six national competitions in a year. Alongside Chrio he has worked on reinforcement-learning agents for driver safety at Motive and on LLM training at MAVN AI. He graduates in 2026 with a 3.9 GPA, five gold medals and a Mitacs research scholarship to Ontario Tech.

Saffi Muhammad Hashir
Saffi is the engineer behind everything Chrio ships. He built the real-time cricket analytics stack that runs at 30 frames per second on one GPU, combining YOLO, Detectron2, SORT and SAHI, and then cut inference latency from 200 ms to 33 ms with CUDA work so the overlay could keep pace with live play.
He also built Dhundo’s distributed search engine, seventeen containerised scraping servers behind a WebSockets front end, and the internal platforms the company runs on. He has led a team of 25 engineers across seven platforms, works as an ML engineer and full stack engineer at Visiontech360, and co-founded a second startup, Repic, in late 2025. He is finishing his computer science degree at FAST-NUCES.

What Chrio makes
Two product lines, both running in production.
Chrio owns and operates both. They share an engineering team and a habit of publishing what each system cannot do: the cricket accuracy methodology and Dhundo's scoring page exist to limit each product's own claims. Past that they are separate, each with its own roadmap, its own users and its own hub on this site.
Product line 01 · Cricket broadcast technology
Broadcast analysis from one workstation at the ground.
Live analysis overlays and decision review for cricket broadcast, produced on one workstation at the ground and operated by one person. Detection, prediction, rendering and broadcast output run through the same pipeline, so improving the tracker improves every product on the line at once.
The economics are the point. Decision review and broadcast analysis are built around a travelling crew, which is why the technology reaches international cricket and stops there. One operator and one machine make domestic leagues, regional tournaments and academy cricket viable broadcast clients.

One search reads 136 Pakistani stores.
Dhundo is a product search engine for Pakistan, live at dhundo.store. One query fans out to 136 stores at once and comes back as a single list sorted by price, with the store named on every row. Dhundo holds no stock and takes no payment.
The long tail is the point. Most price comparison in Pakistan covers a fraction of that count, and the single-brand shops that sell only their own catalogue are where the price differences live. Those are where the price differences live.
